    Carl F. Bailey Jr.

    Principal

Carl is the founder and principal of Bailey & Beatty Financial Services LLC. He began his career in the financial services industry in 1979 while working with Connecticut General Life Insurance Company in Greenwich, Connecticut. He was accepted into an extensive training program and worked with clients on financial planning, insurance, estate planning, investments, and portfolio management.

In 1982 after 3 years with Connecticut General, Carl moved back to his hometown of Danbury, CT and opened a local, independently owned financial advisory firm. Bailey & Beatty has been serving the retirement and financial needs of individuals, families, and businesses ever since.

With more than 40 years of wealth management experience, Carl provides objective and personalized solutions based on the needs of each of his clients. He and his team build long-term relationships based on trust, knowledge, industry experience, and the drive to do what's best for each client given his or her unique financial condition. He works with clients to determine their financial goals, and then develops an investment strategy and financial plan which are flexible to adapt over time.

Carl believes in giving back to his local community. He founded Danbury Grassroots Academy (DGA) in 2006. DGA is a free year-round program serving approximately 60 underprivileged students, ages 8 to 18, in the Danbury school system. The mission is to improve the lives of promising, selected students in Danbury by emphasizing education, character, tennis, and health. DGA provides students with a disciplined and nurturing environment for mentoring, promoting healthy lifestyles, and building self-esteem.

Carl also started a medical-mission program where he personally takes surgeons to Nicaragua to repair the cleft palates of young children. He donates medicines, products, and equipment to American medical outreach programs traveling to Nicaragua. His teams have reconstructed the faces of over 1,000 children free of charge.

Carl graduated from Fairfield University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. He holds FINRA Series 1, 7, 24, and 63 securities registrations. Carl is also insurance licensed in Life, Accident, and Health in Connecticut.

He and his wife, Lauren, live in Brookfield, Connecticut. They enjoy tennis, golfing, boating, and all outdoor activities. His son Dan lives in Los Angeles and is a writer for The Golbergs TV show on ABC.
