The mission is to improve the lives of promising, selected students in Danbury by emphasizing education, character, tennis, and health. DGA provides students with a disciplined and nurturing environment for mentoring, promoting healthy lifestyles, and building self-esteem.
Carl also started a medical-mission program where he personally takes surgeons to Nicaragua to repair the cleft palates of young children. He donates medicines, products, and equipment to American medical outreach programs traveling to Nicaragua. His teams have reconstructed the faces of over 1,000 children free of charge.
